Welcome to the ASU Unofficial Wiki!

The goal of this wiki is to serve as a location for any resources that may interest a student of Arizona State University, especially a student of their computer science program. The aim of this project is to preserve information in a more long-lived fashion than e.g. a Discord server or Slack channel.

As this project is in its infancy, we're open to almost any contributions (excluding obvious spam, anything that violates academic integrity, etc.) Also, to ensure accountability, you should log in with the Google account associated with your ASU ID (as opposed to the ASU ID itself, any other Google account, or direct MediaWiki login). I might relax this requirement depending on how things play out.

Feel free to use this as a centralized repository for any information that you believe might be useful to a student in a particular class, including but not limited to:

  • External resources that you find helpful for certain assignments, units or projects
  • Explanations of difficult-to-understand concepts that helped you, and which you believe may help others as well
  • Anything related to the ASU student experience outside of particular classes (e.g. information about pursuing research opportunities)

This is very much a pilot program. I intend to figure out what works and then formalize it from there.

Feel free to reach out to me (Rohan Ramesh) via email (rrames51 at asu dot edu) or Discord (@rrames51)! I'll try to get back to any inquiries within 48 hours.
